We were excited to run into Nicole at the airport on our way to Utah. We were going there to hang out with cousins and enjoy Faith's "Bright Star" play at her school in Heber. 

We got to see snow and also this awesome deer relaxing in Mom and Dad's yard.

Brooklyn decided to do some batting with her lacrosse stick when we went to Peanut's lacrosse clinic. As a side note, I did a deep dig to get a ball and totally messed up my glutes for months!

Faith at her play! We were laughing because this guy was one of the main actors and he looked so much like a little Doug.

Heber got so much snow! We spent the night at Trish's house and got to go to church with her the next day. Faith bore such a beautiful testimony there. 

When we got back home, the kids went to school and the high school had a lockdown because the bus driver did not recognize this guy. He had just come to the school the day before, so it wasn't the bus driver's fault. But all the doors were locked and kids had to be quiet in all their rooms. It was scary. 

The kids like to take pictures of me doing their hair. It looks like Brooklyn was getting her hair braided. 

I went on a hiking field trip with Corban's first grade. It was tons of fun. We led the whole group and did some great exploring. Fun fact: my friend Melissa led a group where pretty much everyone was crying. A very different experience!

Spring break! We rented an Airbnb with Darcee and Jeremy and went to Six Flags the first day, planning to do it again a second day, but it was rained out! We ended up going to Universal Studios because it wasn't rained out. Poor Darcee and Jeremy didn't have as good a time as we did because McKelle was sick (threw up all over their bed) and most of their kids didn't like being in the rain. The rain definitely thwarted us. 

It was fun to be around so many great kids at Six Flags. We didn't hang out with them a ton but thought we could hang out with them more the next day.

Lucy ran into one of her best friends from Wildfire Elementary School at the end of the Six  Flags day so we hung out with him and his family.

The Super Mario Brothers area had just opened. The castle was amazing.

Back home to enjoy Lake Pleasant.

We started passing a gnome to several houses in our ward. Lots of fun!

I passed the gnome to Genevieve Blair. It's tucked in the shrubbery with a love note from Corban.

We got a great deal on Lucy's shoes through Mike Greer, who worked at Nike. 

Blast from the past. I'll get these messages all the time about things that happened on the same day years ago. This was from a really fun hike in Cave Creek.

I love it when the little boys' room looks nice. This is so rare. 

More great hikes to Yavapai Point. It's one of my favorite hikes because you keep the water in sight most of the time.
