February 2023

Wearing my favorite sweatshirt that reads "Yes, I'm cold. -Me 24:7"

Arrow after being groomed

We got Buechners because of Cabell's lacrosse tournament! It was so great.

Fisher in his Spiderman costume passed out during one of Cabell's games

Sample piano notebook. Kids take lessons with Sister Anita Carroll. She's in our ward and she is an incredible musician and artist.

Girls at the ward kickball tournament

Cason's project on Stan Lee took so much time! He and I both worked incredibly hard on it.

Doug and I were asked to be Ma and Pa for trek and started shopping for trek clothes. I love how this model is wearing incredibly high heels. It just makes sense.

Draven being adorable. My grandma Carolyn Cottam Stevenson Dodd passed away in February and all the siblings flew out for the funeral. It was a really special family time.

Marsh went out on a run wearing these little dinky gloves. We just use whatever we can find at Mom's house.

I may have locked Troy in the freezing garage for a little bit before letting him back in.

I drove with Ashley and Tanner back from a luncheon thing and Ashley was wedged SUPER comfortably between her two little kids. Hard to imagine having two kids under the age of 2. The kiddos are less than 16 months apart, which will be amazing when they are in school together only a grade apart!

I got smiles!

Her Troy is looking splendid for the funeral. I should ask for more pictures from the funeral with everyone.

I rushed home on Valentine's Day and got little treats for all the kiddos to open when they got home from school.

The next big adventure was getting LASIK surgery. It was so uncomfortable and so painful afterward. Doug had bought us some French baked goods and we were munching on them and laughing in the car afterward and then the pain just increased and increased unbearably and I sobbed the rest of the way home. I finally got some sort of nap and the pain lessened. My eyes burned for the next several weeks. It was miserable but I would still recommend it. It has been life-changing.

Speaking of life-changing, the Weeks family had a tragedy in their family. John Weeks passed away and this picture is taken the day after my LASIK surgery at the stake center after his funeral. I ran into Karina Cubas from my high school! I'd love to get together with her again. She goes by KC now. I admire the Wings so much for their tenacity to keep going and live their most beautiful life possible.

A beautiful hike with my buddy

And then I was back on a plane to go to Utah to ski with Doug after his annual meeting!

Here are the notes I left for Kayla and Dave to help them out while Doug and I were gone for a few days.

The boys cracked up at the Little America restaurant as their dad entertained them.

Corban without his two front teeth doing a beautiful art project

I don't know the story behind this, but Cason looks goofy and is holding way too much candy. I sense contentment.

And finally, Corban asleep in the loft, with a stuffy as a pillow and a fluffy blanket
