April 2022

This was a month of General Conference, sports (I keep not posting pics of Brooklyn playing softball because they are all videos), extended family time with cousins, training, Isaac starting to learn how to drive, and my half marathon.

I was thinking about Carmen Rindfleisch and one of her final posts before she passed. She was such a wonderful person.

My half marathon results!

Running to the end with a smile. I'd done way better than I planned to do.

Third place in my age division

The kids were bored waiting for me to get my metal, but I was happy to have them there.

We spent some fun time doing a day cruise with extended family and going to a super fun restaurant with saloon-style decor and dollar bills pinned up across the walls. This pic is from the women's bathroom.

Cason and Emory on the boat

Brooklyn sorting our socks. It is always an ordeal and I pay the kids $0.10 per legitimate match (no cheating and combing socks that aren't the same size or color)

Decorating Easter cookies

Niki and I charged her dead battery

Saving our seats at church

Kerrisha Visser's Baptism Day!

Posing in front of Jeremy and Darcee's new house under construction

Lucy became a brace face!

Arrow chewed through these straps on Cason's shoes. We used staples and duct tape to keep them together for a while, but it was annoying to have our dog chewing and destroying shoes.

Isaac's awesome parking job

General Conference toys from Susan Leber

Isaac earning his starbursts through General Conference Bingo (again from Susan)

Arrow newly groomed

Kids were brave enough to jump in the pool in April!

More face decorating with Lucy before she got her braces

Cool action shots of Lucy scoring

MeAfter after a long run, super pumped!

This is from one of my longest training runs before the race.
