May Days

At the start of May, we went to Utah. The weather was fine for shorts and t-shirts, which is incredible to me! The kids got to play in the sand by the park at Adventure Land.

And we went to Thanksgiving Point gardens. I love it there. This is of Cason in the secret garden.

When we got back to Ammon, I took this picture of Cason. He was still learning how to walk, and liked things to hold on to.

Peanut gave Brooklyn her birthday gifts early--Anna and Elsa dolls, I believe. Brooklyn was rude and said she didn't like the presents. So we returned the gift and got all of these things. We have since worked on being polite and saying thank you.

Cason started doing really well walking on his own, so I took tons of pictures and videos.

And here is a picture of Peanut running the Boston Marathon. It was freezing cold and incredibly windy in Boston that day, and I spent so many hours searching for her on the live stream and trying to find her crossing the finish line. I was so proud of her that I could burst.

Another walking video. Even cuter in a diaper.

Doug and I went to the "Second Chance Prom" with some of our friends and had so much fun! We danced like crazy and I wore my friend Andrea's beautiful dress.

I took this picture one day to show Doug that I had mowed the lawn. I mowed it a lot in the spinr and summer to lighten Doug's load.

And here's Brooklyn on her birthday!

She got to get some balloons and outfits at the mall, and she loved it.

I also hosted a birthday party for the 4 preschool girls: Chloe, Jane, Brooklyn, and Alena. They made crowns, and everyone got presents for each other.

Doug really wanted us to get an expensive swing set, and I begged for us to get something less expensive. I won the battle, I guess, by getting the cheaper set, but Doug still wants to get a huge swing set. My thought, after such a crazy-long freezing winter, is what's the point? The kids can only play on it from May through early October and then it is buried in snow. Plus, we may move. So I'm not sure what will happen. I like the simple swing set, and the price was way more "right" than the models Doug was looking at.

And here's a sweet picture Lucy drew me for Mother's Day. She was very into rainbows, and I love this happy image. What a sweetheart she is.
