A few days ago, as I was watching Isaac play with his toys, I thought, "I need to see that little boy's chub." So I took off his little sweats and let him explore our home pantless. I just love his little fat rolls.
The next day, Doug followed suit, shedding our little boy's layers. We took more than a dozen photos, trying to capture his flab. Isaac had to come examine all of the pictures with us, and we realized something pretty remarkable: Isaac looked skinnier in his pictures than in real life. How was that possible? Isn't the camera supposed to give you ten pounds, not take away?
Then I started looking at our enormous Huggies box in a whole new way--maybe the baby on the front of the box is really as chubby as Isaac, but the photographer couldn't adequately capture the bulge.
