Doug will want me to take this post off our family blog, but I think the female world needs proof of the living reality of gorgeous, scantily clad, fun, wonderful males. Yes, that's right, ladies: Doug's massive shoulders really are larger than Isaac's head; that is no camera illusion.
Doug and Isaac crack each other up all the time--one of our favorite family pastimes is to put on James Taylor's "How Sweet It Is To Be Loved By You!" and dance around the kitchen. Doug holds Isaac, bouncing around with him to the music, and I jump around too, zooming in and out of Isaac's line of vision, sneaking kisses from both of them while Isaac squeals and giggles with glee.
I read recently that adults only laugh a handful of times a day, whereas kids tend to laugh about 400 times a day--I think Doug and I get the benefit of excessively high amounts of laughter, thanks to Isaac.
