Are we all feeling slightly AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!?

I haven't felt this way at Christmas time before. At the moment, actually, I feel fine, but this Christmas season has just been more stressful for me than ever before. I spent a ton of time Christmas shopping, only to think, "Hallelujah, I'm done!"... and then enjoy that feeling for about five seconds before realizing I actually had 4 White Elephants to buy (nice ones--how lame and anti-white elephant!) and a Christmas gift for my grandma.

Then lots of wrapping (with While You Were Sleeping on in the background, how marvelous!) and trying to have everything ready by yesterday, the day of the big Stevenson Christmas party in Ogden. The idea was to get everything wrapped and stuffed into sacks, Santa-style, then dump the sacks on my mom and Peanut so we wouldn't have to bring so much stuff in a week when we go to Utah.

And then the snow storm came. And I didn't get to go to the Christmas party:(.

And I still have a million presents in my storage closet, including two white elephants I didn't get to give yesterday (not to mention the Diet Coke products I bought for the party, even though we don't drink caffeinated drinks in our home. Who wants the drinks?! I don't want to bring them to Utah!)

So that about catches me up. I'm posting precious pictures, and then I'll feel ready for Mary Ann and Brie Ann's visit! They're coming tonight and staying until Friday.
About the pictures:

Lucy can wear "low" pigtails now. They're behind her ears and almost all of her hair fits into them. So, so incredibly cute.

Isaac is going through a "blink for the camera" stage so I wanted to show you his camera smile, and then the face he makes when I say, "Now, smile and open your eyes!"

My cute little munchkins. Lucy gets hugs about a thousand times a day.

This may be my favorite picture in the last few months. Most of you know that I am not crafty. I consider it a major accomplishment that I have a "craft box." In the craft box (which is really a plastic container for wipes) you will find markers, crayons, and stickers. So I'm not crafty and my poor son therefore doesn't get to work on many art projects. Which is why I support his artwork at the dinner table. Isaac and his dad are holding up a seahorse Isaac made out of bread. Good work, son! I love how proud he is of himself.

What do you guys do with your Costco boxes? I like to decorate them with children. Actually, she did that herself--what a cute dollie. This last picture is actually here to prove how fabulous Lucy has been looking in the last little while. She was sick FOREVER and therefore wore jammies all day every day, with her hair done so as to avoid having it touch her face, and therefore get booger-y. When she got feeling better and we could finally leave the house again, I had fun dressing her up.

I know I'm signing off for at least a few days, so I just want you to know how much I love my blogging friends and staying connected this way!

How sad that you didn't get to go to the Christmas party! I hate snow for that reason. Your kids are so beautiful.

You have such sweet kids! I wish Brendan and Isaac could hang out more- they would have good times together. And I'm very jealous that you get to make Lucy's hair so cute! Hope you guys have a wonderful Christmas!

Ok, so I totally recognize the girl with you at the top. I think she was good friends with my friends Heidi Hynes and Cristina Johnson who lived in Santa Barbara condos in Provo...small world.
