July 2020

Oh, boy. I'm typing this in February of 2022. I better start typing quickly if I hope to ever catch up to the present. These pictures aren't in a great order. Thes pics start mid-July when we were in Minnesota and then go back in time to the start of July when we were in Island Park. Poor River offered to ride a little bicycle for one of the girls who didn't want to ride her bike anymore.

An absolutely perfect sunset I've appreciated my whole life.

When we travel, we try to have enough space for everyone to have a bed, but some kids get creative. Brooklyn chose to sleep on a footrest and didn't get the best sleep.

The kids made this cool design in the sandbox in Island Park.

Kids having fun at the cabin

A quick dog pile with Buechner cousins on our way home from Island Park.

One of Corban's outfit picks at Grandma Sheide's house

Doug baptized Star right after our Island Park trip.

So much posing during this trip!

I'm pretty sure I wanted pictorial evidence of Isaac helping with dishes.

We did some razoring in Island Park. It was okay, but it was loud and bumpy and we got lost. We did see a moose, which was awesome, but of course, we didn't take a picture.

I'm not sure how I convinced him to do this, but Isaac wore this for an incriminating picture with this girl who turned 16 that day.

Doug and I got to do some fishing. I love these outings.

Doug loves his fresh produce on the way up to Island Park!

We stuffed our car to the gills with groceries for Island Park.

My patriarchal blessing.

The rest of these pictures are in reverse order from the last day of July to mid-July, so let's fly backward through July, shall we?

I was remembering Ashley's pretty nails by painting my nails blue with sparkles.

Lucy and I got to see Jen and Hannah Hoff at a go-carting place. Hannah had a friend with her.
A lot of our pictures from our reunions were with dog piles.

So many of the kids had to pile into various cars. This particular trip was very fun but Peanut accidentally hit Dad's new car with his trailer.

Biking and running and walking brigade. This event always makes me wish it were easier to bring bikes with us.
All the young boys.

Tanner after getting mauled by his brothers and brought into the water.

The happy dunkers.

Typically calm sibling posing session

Why not drape Peanut's hair over all of us?

The young girls

Such a full house at mealtime.

Lucy posing on the otter. Corban was telling me a few days ago that we really needed to go back to this park and I promised that we would this summer.

The crazies with their favorite stuffed animals

Corban passed out on the bed

Too many kids in rooms. And there we have an idyllic July! A lot of people stayed home and quarantined that whole summer so we felt like we got away with something. No one got COVID, I don't think.
