August 2020

 Incredibly, school begins in August here in Arizona. So let's skip down memory lane in August of 2020. 

The signage in the time of COVID has been crazy. On our drive home, we saw this sign telling customers they needed to pay money to use the restroom if they didn't make a purchase because of the toilet paper shortage.

We considered buying that house in the middle. If we had bought it, we would have lived just a mile away from Jen and incredibly close to Isaac's high school, Great Hearts. We love where we moved to, but I felt some regret about this house and others because they were so much closer to sports and schools. I've gotten over it to an extent now. 

People who were for Trump for reelection were really open about their feelings.

Taking the sacrament in our home was only reverent and spiritual a few times. Most of the time, kids forgot why they were doing what they were doing and just made me sad.

We did some really cool indexing parties at our house for a few months with the missionaries and another family. It was fun. I want to go back to indexing parties.

At the end of August, we went with the cluster and wives to Huntington Beach and had a blast. It was so good to be together and get a little break from kiddo needs.
