May Review

Such a great, eventful month! Here's my darling Brooklyn at her soccer game. She scored with her new cleats.

And did a great job at her gymnastics performance. I miss that place!

Lucy was also amazing at her gymnastics performance. Look at that gorgeous girl!

One of my favorite purchases ever, just because of the sheer joy derived from it. Unfortunately, we left the batman swim trunks at a hotel this summer. If Cason still adores Batman this summer and Costco puts these swimsuits again, we'll get another set.

At a young women's spa activity. This is Abigail Crane, an incredibly gifted artist, and the older sister of Benjamin, who pooped on our slide a few times last year!

Brookie at her graduation! She was so excited that Grandma and Grandpa were there for it.

She can be such a joy. I love the light in her face.

And we got a new van from the Arizona mission office!

More Brookie cuteness at another soccer game.

And the birthday girl on her birthday, celebrating at the petting zoo before school.

On her birthday, Doug was on a recruiting trip in San Antonio. We thought we would move there, but Doug just wasn't impressed with the potential there. It would have been awesome to live in a place that is warm and has a temple, but it just wasn't the right choice for our family.

Free face painting at Pizza Pie Cafe! Brookie waited in line eating pizza for the chance to get this awesome look.

Peanut and I ran Dad's middle school 5k and it was awesome. River ran with us for about two miles before slowing down. We passed the finish line averaging 7 something and Peanut ran back to finish the race with River.

Right after that, Doug and I took a surprise recruiting trip flight to Olympia, Washington! Doug had planned on interviewing in Walla Walla, but the administrator in Olympia got fired, so they had Doug come there instead. We decided to have me come with him and Peanut had the honor of watching 11 children for a few days.

Brookie's cute story: I am going to move.

We'll choose the toys we want to bring.

We choose the box we want to bring.

We get our blanket and our pillow.

Then we go.

We celebrated our beloved Grandma and Grandpa Sheide for Memorial Day with the Buechners. They are two of the most precious people in the world.

Our last trip to Thanksgiving Point gardens!

And we sold our lovely golden chariot. It was good to our family for 6 years--Brookie's whole life up to that point.
