November 2019

Glad to see I have almost made it through my 2019 posts (never mind that it is now August 2020).

The pictures posted in reverse order, so sing the alphabet backward while you view pictures, if that is one of your talents--it is not one of mine.

We bought a few gingerbread kits and I definitely won't rely on the ingredients that come in the box in the future. I will make my own frosting and have a lot more variety--and I may even learn how to make my own gingerbread houses.

Corban ran around with the tree skirt on his back like a cape while Doug and Lucy started setting up our Christmas tree.

We had so much fun running a "Turkey Slurpy" run on Thanksgiving morning. I ran my last mile pretty quickly, which was pretty awesome. I loved our turn out!
My crew of runners. Doug was nice and pushed the stroller so I could run with all of the kids and cheer them on.

The first of many Friday morning walks with friends. We kept this up until COVID-19 ruined everything in March.

We did some painting when it was my turn to host preschool and Brooklyn wanted to paint when she got back home. Incidentally, this is the table that we got for free from a driveway in our neighborhood. (There was a sign on it that said it was free.)

Fierce Corban and TJ painting during preschool

And taking a nap in a very special costume, complete with swim shoes and a football glove

This was the table we sold after we discovered the free table.

Awesome costumes at the Halloween party Phoenix Mountain put on for the community

You can see the kids' Halloween costumes here, kind of. We had Batman, Spiderman, a pair of pants, and Nymphadora Tonks. I'm not sure where Isaac was?

I love the picture here of the siblings in a dog pile. I have since cut that picture out and put it on my fridge. Family is so wonderful!

And that is a very short version of life in November. It was tough for Lucy not to be able to play soccer or volleyball, or the violin, or piano, but she pulled through. We had Thanksgiving dinner at Jen's house and it was really nice. I'm noticing on that calendar that Brooklyn wrote that Matt's family was coming on the 28th. . . but she was a month off.
