March Pictures

When Kayla and Dave came to visit a week after Cason was born, Kayla made home-made pink playdoh for Brooklyn. Brooklyn was in heaven. Hours and hours of entertainment ensued. Also, admire the ONLY church dress Brooklyn ever wanted to wear for church last winter. I bought it for $2 at a second hand children's store called Once Upon a Time and I definitely got my money's worth. Brooklyn still likes to go with her "old reliable" dresses for church every Sunday, and has a very hard time wearing something she hasn't worn before. We like to think that doesn't forbode ill in our future. I can't believe how short her hair was!

Isaac and Lucy hammed it up on that day of happy playdoh. No one looks good against our kitchen accent wall, by the way. Don't model there.

And here is our sweet baby a week after he was born. i loved this little outfit. My friend Jessica Taylor gave Cason this blanket, which has his name and birthday embroidered on the back.
Isaac made his homework look very cool when he wrote all of the answers as dinosaurs. Brilliant, creative kid.
The kids at the temple. We like to go there on Sundays because we don't hae family in town and Sundays are long when you can't play outside for very long, or play with family.

Kayla and Dave started a new tradition together of sending letters to each grandchild for each holiday. Many of the letters include money, and my kids support this whole heartedly. I should mention that the  most recent card, for Thanksgiving, had a $10 for each kid, and the money was to be used to serve. What an incredible idea.
This was during our first family photoshoot that Anna and Mary did for us at the end of March. It may not be flattering, per se, of Brooklyn, but I love how attached she is to her daddy.

And I love how attached Lucy is to Cason. My mom thinks she looks like a little Dutch girl in a painting, and I have to agree.

"Keepin' the happy"

I like this one because my eyes look so blue and because you can tell how smitten I am by my little baby. He is INCREDIBLE!

This is one of Cason's beloved Gymboree hand-me-downs. They are incredible, and babies look so cute in them.
