Saving Up Sleep

Obviously, sleep is important to me, particularly when I know it's about to become very precious. So I am getting great sleep. Brooklyn pulled through her little pyscho stage of wailing and being a terrible napper, and we're back to the same ol', same ol'--which is that she sleeps during naptime more than half of the time, and then doesn't go to sleep until 10:30 or so on those nights, and she wakes up on a consistent basis around 9:15 am. It's not perfect, but it means I can get a lot of things done in the mornings. .  .or I can occasionally go back to sleep after sending Isaac off to his school bus at 7:45:). I'm just cherishing the peace and calm I get right now.

Today's victories include dusting the whole house, tidying everything, getting caught up on grading, and making a dinner my kids loved (macaroni and cheese, rotisserie chicken and rolls, grapefruit, and asparagus for the grown-ups).

I have about 4 weeks to go in this pregnancy, and that's both too much time and not long enough.
