Cute cousins together in the community Easter egg hunt--it lasted about 4 minutes and was awesome!

Brooklyn looks excited for the big hunt.

Lucy decided to "help" Dad put up the trampoline during General Conference last weekend. The wind blowing her hair straight up also made it so Doug and I had to race outside that night and put bins full of water on top of the poles so the trampoline wouldn't blow away. When I took this picture of Lucy, she was singing "A Whole New World.":)

My sorry camera on a Sunday morning--at least you can tell that the kids look happy. Brooklyn and Lucy matched, but thanks to the camera, I guess they all match.

And here's my blog book. It records my family history for 4 1/2 years, and it feels worth $100 to have it. I would pay more than that to have a book like this from my mom, grandmas, any women related to me. It felt kind of sad to put it on a shelf--like I should appreciate it daily--but I am glad we have it.
I've been MIA for a while, thanks to a grueling grading schedule (40 8-page papers one week, then 40 14-page papers the next week, and evaluating instructors) while I prepped for Matt, Jessica, Kate, Luke, and McKay to come join us for the Easter weekend. . . what a whirlwind! Matt and Jessica's family left today, and we will miss them! It was such a breath of fresh air to be with family, even with stomach flu for me on Easter Sunday!
I'm a survivor of heavy grading, and I am not quite ready for Spring classes to start. Thankfully, I get a whopping 8-day break from teaching, and then I'll be back at it again. During the break, I'm taking Isaac, Lucy, and Brooklyn to St. George with my mom, dad, Tanner, Shauna, Eric, Peanut, River, Haven, Cabell, and Summerlyn. We'll have a full condo:). Kids are up from naps, so that's it!

the tidbit about her singing a whole new world while practically being blown away made me laugh. that's the good stuff of motherhood, isn't it?
Oh geeze, Brooklyn's excited face cracks me up!
That is so fun that your kids have cousins so close in age! I LOVED that growing up. Enjoy the trampoline, and have a great vacation.
Welcome back! Seeing your book motivates me to get mine done-- nice job!
