Swamped

I don't have time to write this. And I will anyway. This is my list of things to do: review class readings, email my classes about office hours and deadlines, grade, update my budget, and keep sending Valentines (I got 20 in the mail last night). And I know I could get this all done without children:).

But I'll seize my kid-free time to say Doug and I went on a cool date on Saturday. It was a fundraiser for the YMCA, and it involved dinner, dancing, and listening to a really funny auctioneer. I've posted pictures of Doug and I, the gorgeous desserts we got to bid on, Doug taking our cupcakes to the table, the guests (many of whom were wearing sequins with plunging necklines and sky-high hems--I loved it!!!!!!!!! There was not even a shortage of feathers!!)

And Brooklyn cut her first tooth yesterday. We're very proud of her accomplishment.
