Providing Setting for the Imagination

Here's our main family room. There's a bookshelf to the left, as well as our small entry way.

Here's my kitchen. I can look into my backyard while puttering, and to my right is our kitchen table and the sliding door leading to the backyard.

Below, you see our stairs, modelled by Lucy, who climbed our whole set of stairs yesterday, and our downstairs family room and study.

As always, we have a BYU bathroom. I forgot to post a picture of our upstairs bathroom, but it's pretty cool. I'll post a picture later of that, the kids' rooms, and our back yard.

Our bedroom is covered in mirrors! Believe me, that wasn't the plan. We bought this dresser off KSL last year and it's got the mirror on it. But why would we need that when our closets are both full-length mirrors?! It's embarrassingly Narcissistic.

I took this last picture the morning we moved from Orem.

I love knowing where people live and what their homes look like. I particularly love before and after pictures, but I didn't take the "befores." Maybe the pictures I'm posting now are the "befores" and I'll post the "laters" later on. We haven't, after all, hung all the pictures, assembled our last bookcase, assembled Isaac and Lucy's desk, hung the kitchen valence, or organized the storage room. So enjoy these "befores" that smack of LOTS of work on our part.
The new toys we accumulated in our move are as follows: a grill for Doug, a vacuum and hand-vac (also for Doug, even though I'm the one who usually vacuums), kitchen rugs for me, a beautiful bookshelf for our family room, two less attractive bookshelves, a lawn mower, a washer and dryer, a dresser for Isaac, a small table and chairs for the kids and a smallish pool for Isaac. We also switched our phone service (so we're free to call if you're a Verizon user:)), Doug's getting cable, he dreams and drools over a future flat screen TV and I dream and drool over new future bedroom furniture.

Here's a virtual tour that went ski-wompuss. I wanted to show the whole house, but the picture went completely black when I went inside. So enjoy the first 15 or so seconds of this video:).
