March 2024

I started the month off with an awesome trip to the temple. I love the Phoenix Temple so much!

Doug was an assistant coach for Cason with CCV. One of my favorite parts of this was when a pastor interviewed Doug to ensure his religious beliefs aligned closely enough. When asked about the trinity, Doug responded, "I love God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost." He passed!

Isaac all ready for "Mormon Prom". We're trying to avoid the word "Mormon" nowadays, but the name hasn't really changed--maybe LDS prom?

. . .with her dad's help

For spring break, we knew Doug would be out of town so we rented an Air B and B in Mund's Park. We convinced the Greers to come with us and had a wonderful time.

I built my very own shoe rack

Fun spring paddle boarding with Claire and Jenny

One of the moms on Brooklyn's Impact team was a photographer, so we got a couple cool shots.

In the process of packing for spring break

This castle is super cool! We got to see it for free because of Cason's fourth grade national park pass.

Corban caught a fish in a lake by the house and was SO excited! Note Isaac's sweatshirt. It was really cold!

Bowens and Greers relaxing on the Devil's Bridge trail.

We built a cool puzzle

Hot Seat was super fun with them

Kellie found us another pretty trail on our way home

That night, Lucy had a soccer game so many hours away from Mund's Park. We got home, drove down there, and only had 11 players. The girls did their very best and won! Lucy scored one of the penalty kicks. It's my favorite game I have ever seen.

This was when she scored

Brook and Hallie

This is fairly typical--Doug may be showing them some football play

Kayla spoiling us for St. Patrick's Day

It looks like we may have cleaned up our garage here. It gets so cluttered so quickly.

Gorgeous night for softball

Goofballs

Lucy's NPL championship game got rained out with an extremely crazy lightning storm.

This is one of my favorite things--kids all around the piano

I brought my slinky to primary and Ryder Morse got it all tangled around Oliver Santangelo.

We fixed it.

Another beautiful hike! This looks like Yavapai Point at Lake Pleasant

Brooklyn's softball art

My hippity hop half marathon outfit!

After the race with my kiddos. Poor Lucy was beside me when I needed to throw up after the race

Second place in my division--so excited!

I found the little boys outside in their robes on day reading. So cute.

Easter feast with Bowens at Jeremy and Darcee's house.
