July Overview

Beautiful lakefront

River holding this really nice "troller" who didn't try to bite anyone. This is CRAZY because Doug and I found a furious snapper on a walk that same day that snapped at us like crazy.
This is way closer than I wanted any of my kids to this snapper but it worked out.

Burying Cason, I think, at Delagoon Park.

I was excited to see the boys playing together in the water.

Our wonderful stroller armada. This year, Cason and Corban were in my double stroller, Brook rode a bike, and Lucy and Isaac walked.

Cason giving a turtle some love

Our beautiful fish fry on the 4th of July. Oh, the yumminess, and the labor intensiveness of it all.

Proof that Doug can get a tan!

Lucy's cute friend from Idaho moved to Minnesota a few years ago so we have been able to see Hannah and her mom Jen for two years in a row. It was fun.

Their height was pretty close this year.

The relaxing tween and teenager

Family photos were a flop for our family this year. Wearing an inside-out shirt and no makeup isn't something I care to do in future family photos. I think our best ones are on Sundays because people actually try to look nice for church that day.

Peanut's face is just amazing here as we lift her up. She says that expression came from the heart.

The snorers. Corban was our buddy in our garage room.

Constant outfit changes at our house

Typical chaos

The kids got these to hand out when they joined the cast for the summer production of Mary Poppins, Jr. Isaac was Mr. Banks, Lucy was the chairman, Mrs. Corey's customer, and a chimney sweep, and Brooklyn was a bumblebee, Mrs. Corey's customer, and a chimney sweep. They auditioned with these songs: Isaac: Spidey Bells. Lucy: Speechless from Aladdin. Brooklyn: a million dreams.

Crazies at the library

Girls with their best friend necklaces

This is what Isaac would do in the car after church on Sundays until it finally cooled down a few weeks ago. It didn't help that our AC broke when it was over 110 degrees.

It looks like two of the boys in this picture had fun posing.

Corban at swim lessons. He loved Ms. Anna. He got braver in the water but I feel like he has reverted to his pre-swim lesson abilities.

Corban boogie boarding in our swimming pool in the nude.

We went through so many swimsuits each day that he got to wear this one to Darcee's pool one day.

A terrible hair-coloring job for me. I changed the hair color a few days later.

Corban made this amazing snail!

The chimney sweeps.

Darling Cason walking with his swim coach to get an otter pop after completing a session of swim

The kids all ready to go perform.

My mom came to watch the kids perform and we had so much fun!

A darling chimney sweep

The whole cast

I wish I'd put this in our Christmas card for this year!

or this one. So cute. And that takes us through July!
