Jully 15-31

Some of our pictures aren't posting, so I want to remember that we went to Mack's Inn and had a great time. The way the characters pose with the audience is so cutr, and Doug got pulled up on stage. I should have recorded it. This was at the Grizzly Exhibit.

And here's Doug in his happy place. I'm always looking for things that make Doug happy, and this is definitely it. That water, the trout, and a fishing pole.

As we left, we saw a mamma moose and her two babies. It was amazing!

We headed to Rexburg for lunch, a quick tour, and dropping off some candy at a friend's desk. We loved being on this campus. Cason was grumpy because he couldn't find a small toy at the book store. The restof us scored, and Doug ran into one of his old young men from Pocatello so we had a nice visit.

Then we went to our old neighborhood in Ammon and had a wonderful time! We let the kids play and the grown-ups chatted. Then Doug and I went on a date with a bunch of couples and spent the night at the Nielson's house. It was awesome! I was so glad we did that.
Then Doug went to Washington and I took the kids to St. George! We were intimidated by the weather forecast (over 100 degrees every day!), especially because we wanted to hike, but it was wonderful.

I was feeling the spirit of Elijah before we went to St. George, knowing that so many of my ancestors had lived and died there. I loved studying about them on my trip there and going to the temple where my great-grandpa had been a  temple president for many years.

It was so hot in the sun, but I'm glad we got this photo.

The kids found the temple fountain, which was okay because it was Pioneer Day and the temple was closed. It was a perfect Pioneer Day activity.

So was this. Corban looks plenty concerned, but we had fun on the merry-go-round.

The lovebirds

I love the splash pad/pond right by the merry-go-round.

Grandma and Grandpa found a great scorpion lollipop for Isaac. He sucked it down to the scorpion and ate it on video. Super gross. I will also remember this day because Isaac had a huge temper tantrum because Peanut said he had already had two servings of dessert and he said he had only had one. It was ugly, and he was really rude to Eric when Eric's chair was blocking his stalk back to his room. It was bad!

I love this picture with the sign behind him, Avengers, and the light saber.

After a hot walk. We capped our walk time so we wouldn't break their spirits.

Them at the top of Upper Galut.

This was so funny. My battery died (not funny) and a guy handed me a new battery to install without tools in the over-100 degree heat. Peanut went back into the store, asked him for help, he brought out his tool kit and went to work. We kept laughing about how we had jammy pants and he had the huge tool box. Priceless.

Us in Delta. Glad we went there to support McKay in his production of Beauty and the Beast We loved it!

Then I learned that Corban accomplished a great milestone--he can drink water from a fountain all by himself!

Cute Lucy and Jet Puppy.
