My little baby Cason turned 1 month old yesterday, and we tried to make him smile to celebrate his big day. . . no such luck. But we have seen gassy smiles in his dreams, and we know we'll love his beautiful, genuine smile when it comes along.
So how are we doing? We're pretty good! Cason is doing the right thing and sleeping through a lot of the night, for which we are truly thankful. He goes to bed some time between 10-11:30 at night, and wakes up a few times to eat before he's ready to start the day. It's usually about a 12 hour stretch, but he was up earlier today. He has had 4 ounces of formula in his life, thanks to his daddy, who has volunteered to let me take naps at night a few times, when I really needed them.
Four young kids, 7 and younger, is definitely a lot more challenging than three little kids 7 and under. But it's what we have, so we'll figure it out.
That's it for now:).

One month! It's amazing how fast it goes by and also how crazy things still feel at a month. I'm glad you're getting at least a little rest--have fun with all your little ones!
Oh no he's not allowed to get older. I need to meet him first!
